Our silk shades are lightweight and delicate in appearance but durable for everyday use. Like all silk, they should be handled with care and kept away from moisture or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.

For both our Lampshades and our Lacquer products please use a damp cloth to clean your piece.

We recommend not using household cleaners.

No — our silk lampshades are not collapsible. Each shade is hand-assembled and shipped in its full form, just as it’s meant to hang. This ensures the structure, shape, and quality are perfectly preserved.

Yes — our shades can be used on a lampstand. However, they are made with European fittings, which may differ from standard U.S. lamp base hardware.

You may need a fitting adapter or make a minor adjustment. Most electricians or local lamp shops can help make the adjustment easily.

No — all or shades are sold without electrical components, all cords are sold separately so you can choose the best setup for your space. Allowing the most flexibility in your design and installation process.

We currently offer two options:

• Plug-In US Cord Kit (Black Fabric, 18 ft): Plugs into a standard wall outlet.
• Electrical US Hardwiring Kit (Black 6 ft with Ceiling Canopy): Designed for ceiling installation; requires an electrician.

Use the plug-in kit for a simple, no-drill setup — great for retail stores, stagers, renters or spaces without existing junction boxes. Choose the hardwire kit for a clean, permanent install.

Please note: our hardwire kit is not compatible with crown molding or ceiling medallions.

Yes — all shades are compatible with standard E26 sockets.

We recommend LED bulbs with a maximum 40W equivalent. They’re low-heat and energy-efficient.

Many of our bestsellers are in stock and ready to ship, but some styles may be limited due to small-batch production.

Yes — our initial order minimum for trade orders is $1,200. This applies to both Designer and Business to Business (Retail/Wholesale) accounts.
